Web Development at Scale
Keeping more than 600 dealer websites fast, secure, and consistent
Two national flooring networks run hundreds of independent showroom websites on one shared platform. Every design change has to work for all of them at once.

01
The starting point
Each dealer is its own business with its own look, but the sites share one content system and one hosting environment. New designs were slow to roll out, every store needed something slightly different, and hundreds of security certificates had to stay current at the same time.
02
What we did
- Wrote a custom CSS framework that gave the whole network a shared foundation for new designs.
- Built and shipped new features across the network: a redesigned navigation menu, full-width components, parallax sections, video backgrounds, and lead generation forms.
- Managed the security certificate lifecycle for every site so none of them ever dropped out of HTTPS.
- Tested forms and inputs for common attacks and supplied the code fixes.
- Integrated financing content from Synchrony and Wells Fargo, and tuned pages for search and usability.
03
What changed

30%Less development time after the framework

This work was done in-house as a web developer at Abbey Carpet. It is shown here because the same discipline goes into every studio project.
