What you get here that is hard to find elsewhere.

01

The photographer builds the site.

Your photographs and your website come from the same person, so every image is shot for the place it will live on the page. No stock photos, no awkward crops, no second vendor to coordinate.

02

95+ on Google Lighthouse, in writing.

Every page we build is tested with Google's own tool for speed, accessibility, best practices, and search. Members get a fresh report every quarter, and anything under 95 is fixed at no charge.

03

Built by someone trained in security.

Mike holds CompTIA Security+ and CySA+ certifications. Sites are served as plain, static pages with no plugins and no database, which leaves very little for anyone to break into.

04

You end up owning all of it.

Your domain is yours from day one. After your first year, the code, the photographs, and the words are yours too, with a full commercial license and a clean handover whenever you want one.

05

Experience at a much larger scale.

Before the studio, Mike helped maintain more than 600 production websites and wrote the CSS framework that cut their development time by 30%. Your site gets the same discipline.

06

Photos that keep matching.

Studio and Signature clients get a custom photo preset built from their session, so the pictures you take on your own phone next month still look like they belong on your site.

How membership works

One price. No add-ons.

The monthly price is the whole price. No setup fees, no extras, no surprise invoices.

By invitation
Website memberships begin with a request and a short conversation. If it is a fit on both sides, you receive a written invitation. The Checkup is open to anyone.
$0 to start
No deposit and no build fee. Your first monthly payment is due when we begin.
12 months, then month to month
Website memberships start with a 12-month minimum. After that, stay month to month and cancel with 30 days notice.
Yours after the first year
Your domain is always yours. After 12 months, the site, code, and photographs are yours to keep whether you stay or go. If you leave earlier, pay the rest of the first year and we hand everything over.
Questions

Before you decide.

Anything else, ask. The conversation before an invitation is free and comes with no pressure.

Why is membership by invitation?

One person does every part of the work: the photographs, the design, the code, and the care afterward. That only works with a short roster, and it works best with people we genuinely enjoy working with. Inviting members, rather than accepting every project, is how we keep both of those true.

How do I receive an invitation?

Send a request with a little about your business. We reply within two business days and, if it looks like a fit, set up a short conversation. After that, you receive a written invitation with the membership we recommend. Nothing is owed until you accept it.

What if the timing or the fit is not right?

We will tell you plainly and kindly, and when we can, we will recommend someone who is a better match. If the roster is simply full, we can keep your request and reach out when a place opens.

Why a membership instead of one big invoice?

A website is never really finished. Prices change, photos get stale, and search engines keep moving. A membership is all-inclusive: the build, hosting, changes, and photography, spread over one monthly price, with no surprise bill each time something needs attention.

What does 95+ on Google Lighthouse actually mean?

Lighthouse is the free test Google publishes for measuring how fast, accessible, and search-ready a page is. Each category is scored out of 100. We build every page to score 95 or higher in all four categories, and members get a fresh report every quarter. If a page we built scores lower, we fix it at no charge. Outside tools you ask for, like a booking widget or live chat, can lower a score; we will tell you by how much before adding one.

Who owns the website?

Your domain is yours from day one. After the first 12 months, the site, the code, the photographs, and the written content are all yours to keep. If you ever leave, we hand everything over, with nothing held back.

What happens if I cancel?

The Checkup can be cancelled any time. Website memberships have a 12-month minimum; after that, cancel with 30 days notice and we transfer everything to you. If you need to leave during the first year, you pay the remaining months and still receive the full site.

Are there any extra fees?

No. There are no add-ons, no setup fees, and no surprise invoices. Everything a membership includes is listed on this page, and the monthly price is the whole price.

Is there a limit on changes?

No meter is running. Send changes whenever you need them, like new photos, a price update, or a new menu, and we work through them one at a time, usually within two business days. The only thing that changes your price is needing more pages than your membership includes.

What if I need more than my membership includes?

Move up to the next membership. The new price starts the following month, and nothing else changes. If you start on the Checkup and become a website member, your last three Checkup payments come off your first website month.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. Studio and Signature include a simple editor for posts, news, and other content that changes often. For everything else, just send us the change; it is included.

Is WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace involved?

No. Every site is custom built and served as plain, fast pages. There are no plugins to update and no database for anyone to break into, which is a large part of why the sites score so well and stay secure.

Where do you work?

Photo sessions are in Charlotte and the surrounding area. Websites can be built for businesses anywhere.

Not sure which membership fits?

Request an invitation and tell us about your business. If we are a fit, the invitation will include the membership we recommend, even if it is the smallest one.
